Best Stock Brokerages
Here are some of the best stock brokerages, banks and saving vehicles we are familiar with. Some of them we use ourselves and others are just recommendations.
M1 Finance
M1 Finance – is an excellent and easy to use platform for long term investing. They support retirement accounts such as Roth IRA’s, Traditional IRA’s as well as regular brokerage accounts. Best of all they allow fractional trading (you can buy partial shares of big companies) this is especially helpful when you don’t have enough money to buy a whole share of ticker (GOOGL) for example.
We use M1 Finance for long term investing and dividend investing. It is not well suited for day trades (they only allow 1 window for trading and 2 for M1 Plus members) so if you are interested in trading quite a bit, then check out Robinhood which is next on the list.
RobinHood
Robinhood – is an excellent platform for free individual stock trading & options trading. Robinhood has a nice clean app interface that is easy to use on Android & IOS.
Charles Schwab
Charles Schwab is one of the most advanced stock trading platforms out there and one of our favorites. We use Schwab for long term dividend investments as well as short term trades. Schwab recently cut their stock trading fees to zero so there has never been a better time to join.
You can use our affiliate link below to join and you will get a referral bonus equivalent to the amount you contribute to Schwab.
The chart below breaks down the bonus award amount depending on your contribution amount.
All of the stock brokerages above are excellent in terms of execution and support. Please select one according to your individual needs. We will soon have in-depth reviews posted for each of them.
